Greetings and welcome to my blog!

I am Elaine Garofoli, President and Owner of SparkFireLearning, and I have a passion for learning and helping others to teach and learn with greater proficiency and enjoyment.

I have more than 30 years experience in pedagogy, training, education, and computer technology, have spoken at national conferences, and delivered workshops nationally and internationally. I bring my zest for lifelong learning and inspired living, professionalism, and a sense of humor to all the work in which I am engaged.

What fuels me besides my work is kayaking, running, and mountain biking. I savor good food, wine, music, and conversation with friends. I am committed to making a positive difference in the world, and try to live by the following principles that I have modified for the purposes of this site and my work life:
